Ultrasound gel is the ideal medium to perform these functions. It efficiently transfers ultrasound waves between the patient’s skin and the transducer while reducing acoustic impedance mismatch. With an acoustic impedance matching soft tissues (1.5 MRayls), it ensures complete and accurate transmission of ultrasound waves.

USG gel helps reduce friction and enhances the transmission of ultrasound waves. The intensity and depth of penetrating ultrasound waves can be precisely controlled by the therapist through machine settings, depending on the type of injury and the stage of patient healing.

Growequal Limited Ultrasound Gel (USG Gel) is suitable for imaging and other medical procedures requiring a low-resistance gel. It does not dry quickly or run during use. This conductive ultrasound gel is non-staining, non-greasy, and non-corrosive. It features a bacteriostatic, hypoallergenic, water-soluble formulation that spreads easily in a thin, even layer.
